WTCC: Lada Priora’s improvements in the Zolder’s test. The development program of the official Lada Priora involved in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), marked an important step forward in the testing that took place at the Zolder’s circuit last week. The session has mainly affected the development of the set up, with particular attention to the great feedback immediately provided by the new KW dampers, that took James Thompson (more and more at his ease with the Russian saloon car, whose technical level is taken care by Marco Calovolo, HRS Motorsport’s CEO) to sign a time of only 4 tenths slower than the one carried out by the very well-tested and much-decorated BMW – Priaulx combination. The car as a whole didn’t show any problem and continued to increase lap after lap in an encouraging way. The ninth round of the world series will take place at the German circuit of Oschersleben on September the 6th: the team expects to line up 3 Priora exemplars at the start, in spite of the temporary absence of Thompson, engaged in previous agreements in the Australian V8 Supercar Championship. |
