Danish Championship: first win of Hartmann Racing with Hexathron.
Next challenge within the European Championship in Braga
.

In the seventh and final round of the Danish Touring Car Championship (DTC) Per Poulsen won the "Independent Cup" title, finishing fifth in the final results and giving the first win overall in a championship to the Honda of the Hartmann Racing whose technical management was entrusted to the Motorsport division of Hexathron Racing Systems.

After having scored the seventh fastest time in qualifying, Poulsen led its Accord Euro R to a precious 4th place in Race 1, which was followed by the 2nd place overall in Race 2 and the 6th one in the last competitive appointment of the Danish season.

Also the performances of the “Boss” Hans Hartmann have been excellent: at the wheel of the Accord available because of the absence of James Thompson who was attending other competitive commitments in Australia, Hartmann took by far his best result in Race 2, obtaining an excellent 6th place overall. The performance has been made even more significant by the critical grip’s conditions on the wet track surface.

Although he couldn’t take part the final two scheduled rounds (for a total of six races), James Thompson finished third in a championship where he has been the undisputed protagonist of the whole season driving his Honda Accord Euro R. The car has never ceased to improve its performances through the technical developments and set-ups studied and applied by HRS Motorsport.

The DTC 2009 is over, but the challenge continues: from the 23rd to the 25th October the Hartmann Racing’s Hondas, driven by Thompson and Poulsen, will fight on the Portuguese circuit of Braga in order to win the FIA European Touring Car Championship.

HRS Motorsport is already working to identify the most competitive technical solutions.
