In Denmark Hexathron makes the Hartmann Hondas to fly
The leadership in the overall standings and the supremacy in the Independents’ results mean once again that the contribution of HRS Motorsport has been a key factor for the results achieved during the Jyllandsringen’s Race, third round of the DTC (Danish Touring Car Championship) by the drivers James Thompson and Per Poulsen, athletes who wear the colors of the Hartmann Honda Racing.
The set-up chosen by the technicians of the HRS Motorsport for the Honda Accord Euro - R lined up by the Team proved to be particularly effective: very good qualifying sessions, a 3rd place for Thompson, a 5th one for Poulsen , and excellent results in the three races as well. The two drivers managed by HRS figured always among the first four positions overall, reaching their climax with a peremptory double thanks to the 1st and 2nd place in Race 3.
Now the situation of the standings (Overall – Independents – Teams)is extremely meaningful about the level of competitiveness reached by the Hartmann Hondas thanks to HRS Motorsport: for sure James Thompson leads the overall standings with a start of 9 points on Michel Nykjaer and 10 on Henrik Lundgaard , both at the wheel of the official Chevrolet Lacetti, while Per Poulsen (6th in the overall rankings), at the top of the Independents’rankings, boasts even a margin of 32 points on Jens Møller who follows at the wheel of the Seat Leon.
In terms of Teams’ rankings the Hartmann Honda Racing, 2nd in the concerning standings, reduced its disadvantage: only 27 points separate it from the leadership currently held by the official Chevrolet Motorsport Denmark Team.
On the whole the last round of the DTC offered a further confirmation of the excellence demonstrated by HRS Motorsport to optimize the performances of the Teams which are its customers, in spite of the kind of car which is used.
The fourth competitive round of the DTC will see the Hartmann’s Honda Accord Euro - R engaged in reinforcing its leadership on the occasion of the Padborg Super Prix on the 8th and 9th August, always relying on the best and purpose-made technical solutions designed by HRS Motorsport.
