Franco Nespoli is the man of the penultimate round of Lotus Cup Italy 2014, raced in Imola last weekend. The swiss driver of Cipriani Motorsport had no problems to put his Lotus Elise Cup PB-R in the first position during the three days, starting from the qualify session where Nespoli conquered the pole position with a fastest lap clocked in 1’58″987, ahead Filippo Manassero and Luca Lorenzini (Essecorse). In Race 1 Nespoli jumped on the first step of the podium thank to a unbeatable pace since the green lights; Lorenzini and Fabrizio Scolari completed the Top 3. The Lotus Elise Cup PB-R driven by Franco Nespoli set again the fastest performance in Race 2 but Fabrizio Scolari was able to reduce the gap during the race while Giacomo Stratta finished third. During the weekend, Hexathron Racing Systems engineers Jacopo Fedele and Oscar Jimenez Martinez have worked side by side with CSAI Technical Delegate and PB Racing Technical Director, Enio Bolsieri.
